SHALOM NAMUTERE COMMUNITY PROJECT

Shalom Annual Volunteers retreat 2013 took place in May 2013 at Banana Village Entebbe Heidi Patrick, Esther, Derrick, Betty, Esther, Gillian and Robert Shalom Namutere project, has not attained the level of having full-time staff, therefore the project depends on volunteers who serve the community in their respective areas of gifting for example, with the youth, children, women, general office operations, skills development among others. Meal time at the retreat Gillian Edube we we however have to train these volunteers to empower them and impact them for change, we do this through a period on training at the Volunteers retreat and training. above are the current volunteers for Shalom Namutere Project, please keep them in Prayers and accord them any support to help them meet their day to day activities and needs of life.

Fun moment Shalom annual youth Camp 2012 took place from Sunday 2nd to Thursday 6th of December 2012 and about 100 youth took part in the fun filled, educational and life changing camp,,, thanks be to God, and all our supporters who contributed generously to make it possible for us to hole the camp Camp Leaders Red cross team during session   Uganda Redcross Busia branch participated in the training during the camp, we wish to invite you to the 2013 camp due on 15th to 19th December 2013, you can be part of this as a facilitator, volunteer, participant or even by giving financial support towards the Camp

In July This year shalom meet with the community stake Holders in consultations and training through the community leaders seminar, church workers workshop and women's conference. the meetings were attended by government representatives and local leaders. the three days events were concluded with a gospel crusade. Corruption, environmental protection, small business management and poverty, were among the topics handled during the both the community and church leaders meeting Olupot Justin Missions week ended with a gospel crusade Justin Olupot (right) shared his experience of development in Europe, case study of Norway.
