Solomon Nyakuni Teaching at Shalom Kids  In October 2013 Global Link Afrika, sent 2 medical volunteers (Monica and Solomon) one to Shalom Medical centre and another to Namasyolo Health centre. the two formed a a team which has dynamic involvement in the community including, teaching Shalom Kids, women and youth, school out reach programs and also counselling services to young people. Football Academy

God has blessed his people with talent, most of this talent end up in the grave untapped; this is why Shalom Namutere Project under the help of Jan Kristian have decided to establish a football academy to help tap the  football talents of Young boys and girls in our community and help them grow into footballers who might earn a living through sports.  Shalom Community Football Team, some of the young boys under training by Derrick, our project volunteer with the youth and sport. the Shirts were provided by Jan Kristian from Norway. thanks to him and for the support. Back to School Jan 2014

Back to school campaign Back to school Campaign 2013 School season is finally here and ripe; over the past 4 years Shalom Namutere project has been supporting 54 children with their education needs in what we call back to school campaign, this year we have received requests from 7 more guardians with about 16 children hoping that we can give them a chance to go back to school, our team has identified additional four families with children who need to be sent back to school 6 of them, I have also identified one girl who dropped out of school in Senior 2 and she is working as a house maid so she can get some money to educate her 2 young brothers, she is however willing to go back to school in case there is a chance for her and her brothers. This therefore means that we have about 25 new kids whom we have to take in for our back to school campaign to help them get education because we believe the future lies in these little ones.
