Shalom Medical Clinic

Back to school Program

We have been able to provide scholastic materials for 54 kids and pay school dues for 3 more, we give thanks to the Almighty God, and our dear supporters towards the Back to school program, we also attained a place for the children to meet on Saturdays,,, the house needs serious renovations though. Esther Buluma, volunteer with the Child care program in 2009 we started a child care program and over the 4 years the number has grown from 18 to 54, the project fundraise for scholastic materials and school dues for these children. we give thanks to all our friends who make it possible for us to sent these children back to school every year Mercy and Alice S.4 Candidates 2013

Shalom Children's Study Tour 2013

Shalom Children's Study Tour 2013, September Waiting for the bus in our education program we endeavour to expose the children through serious teachings, skills development and training. Kids at the source of River Nile Jinja Enjoying the view of River Nile Historical moments at the Nile this year through the plan of Esther Buluma the project volunteer working with the childcare department and Patrick wandere the office assistand, we were able to take the kids for a one day study tour to Jinja (source of Rive Nile), Entebbe international Airport and to the wild life education centre Entebbee. Alice Feeling the water thanks to our partners who made it possible for this trip to take place, and to God who made it possible for us to take these kids for their first ever tour out side the community for many of them, and for others a chance to see our nations capital and the international airport.
